    Viscosity, B4 cup : 14-16 seconds
    Density, g/cc, (25ºC) : 1.05
    Density of dipsersion (kg/l) : 1.065

    Properties:

  • Good Grinding medium
  • Good print & transfer properties
  • Good hot mar resistance
  • Good transfer properties

  • Recommendation for end-use:

  • For corrugated paper & boards
  • Good let dowm Vehicle
  • Good grinding properties
  • Economical cost

  • General Guidelines:

Kamicryl 6550 is a high solid acidic dispersion and should be reduced to a lower solids with water to about 20-25 % and can easily be solubilized with ammonia or any alkali prior to use. The solubilization with alkali is complete at an approximate pH 7.5 to 7.7.

At about pH 9.0-9.2 can be achieved a peak and stable viscosity by careful selection of final solid content and pH.

Kamicryl 6550 may be solubilized and used as a grinding medium and letdown vehicle.
