KAMTHANE K-1400

KAMTHANE K- 1400 is a developmental oxidative self- crosslinking aliphatic polyurethane dispersion designed for single package wood coatings. It achieves ambient temperature cross-linking forming hard, clear, abrasion resistant coatings.

Appearance : Yellowish, translucent.
Total solids (% w/w) : 31% ±1
pH (25°C) : 7.0 - 8.5
Volatile : 12% NMP
Elongation at break : 200%
Density of dispersion (kg/l) : 1.06
Konig hardness : 160
Freeze/thaw stability : stable
Film Properties

Self-crosslinking, hard, clear and flexibile
Good water & chemical resistance.
Good mar, scuff & impact resistance
Good gloss and easily flattened

Recommendation For End-use

Wood & rigid substrate coatings
Parquet floorings
Furniture coatings

General Guidelines

The addition of wetting and / or levelling agents and defoamers is required.
Kamthane K-1400 can be formulated with suitable coalescents, and matting agents.
