Surface Preparation
: |
Surface should be sound, clean and free of dust, oil or grease and curing compound. Loosely adhering particles such as rust scale, cement particles etc should be removed with wire brush or other suitable means.
|
Application
:
FLEXKOTE can be applied by brush, squeegee or roller. Hot, dry or highly porous surfaces should be dampened with clean water prior to application of FLEXKOTE. For proper protection usually two coats are recommended. Apply second coat at right angle to the first one, when the first coat is completely dry. When screed or render is to be applied onto the coating the final coat should be sprayed with sharp clean sand and allowed to dry. Brush off excessive sand before application of screed or render. FLEXKOTE also acts as a non-degradable curing membrane; hence it can be applied immediately after the removal of mould, to the concrete structures, which has no aesthetic value such as the sub-structure of the building.

FLEXKOTE emulsion protects
foundations against infiltrating moisture
and ground water.
|
FLEXKOTE is a special bitumen emulsion. based on high
quality bitumen and fillers.
FLEXKOTE provides a good protective membrane or a flexible
binder if used in cement mortar.
FLEXKOTE is a waterbased thixotropic binder, therefore it
can be directly applied from the cotainer and contains no
flammable
or noxious solvents.
FLEXKOTE adheres very well to most clean building materials
and withstands all climatic conditions.
|
FLEXKOTE can be used on most
roof
constructions and diferent subbase materials : e.g.
roofing-felt, concrete,
asphalt, asbestos, cement etc.
Apply more layers to achieve the desired thickness.
|
|
|
FLEXKOTE protects concrete and
steel constructions against moisture
and atmospheric pollution.
|
FLEXKOTE emulsion can be mixed
in a
special cement. aggregate mortar to
obtain a dustfree anti skid flooring with permanent
plasticity. These floorings can be laid on an old or new
substrate
and can be used for warehouses with
forklift trucking.
|
|
|
FLEXKOTE emulsion provide after
drying a
weather-proof finish and prevents the infiltration
of water and moisture in the insulation.
FLEXKOTE creates a vapour proof layer
in cold insulations
|
FLEXKOTE emulsion can also be used
as bonding agent for wood block floorings,
titles stones and insulation to brickwork,
concrete etc.
