Kamprill 100 R is a solid grade oligomer (SGO) supplied in pellet form. This styrenated acrylic polymer has a mid-range molecular weight that promotes broad utility. Kamprill 100 R is completely soluble in alkaline water.

Kamprill 100 R can be utilized to formulate low viscosity solutions necessary to make glossy overprint varnishes, as well as high viscosity/shear solutions required to produce high quality pigment dispersions and inks.

Compatibility of Kamprill 100 R

Kamprill 100 R is compatible with most common emulsions.

Solution Preparation and Solution Properties

The following formulations are offered as starting points of making resin solutions. The resin should be cut under agitation by high-speed mixers.

Although Kamprill 100 R will dissolve at room temperature, the solution process can be greatly accelerated by use of warm water up to 70ºC.
