KAMTHANE K-1470

KAMTHANE K- 1470 is a hard polyurethane dispersion with good abrasion and chip resistance.

Type : Anionic, Dispersion
Appearance : bluish white, translucent.
Total solids (% w/w) : 34% ±1
pH (25°C) : 7 to 9
Viscosity : 75-250 cps
NMP : 5.0%
Elongation at break : 300%
Konig hardness : 140
Freeze/thaw stability : stable
Film Properties

Hard and flexible.
Good water resistance.
Low level of thermoplasticity.
Excellent chip / abrasion resistant.

Recommendation For End-use

Floor and wall coatings.
Joinery Paints.
Hygiene coatings.
Concrete coatings
Multi-surface paints
Plastic coatings.

General Guidelines

The addition of wetting and/ or levelling agents and defoamers is required.
Kamthane K-1470 should be formulated with suitable coalescents, thickeners and matting agents.
Kamthane K-1470 can be combined with limited amounts of acrylics
