KAMTHANE K-2800

KAMTHANE K- 2800 is a similar version of K-2833 with a superior solvent resistance.

Appearance : white yellowish, translucent.
Total solids (% w/w) : 33% ±1
pH (25°C) : 8.0 - 8.8
Viscosity : 60 - 180 cps
NMP : 6.9% NMP
Density of dipsersion (kg/l) : 1.05
Elongation at break : 200%
Konig hardness : 160
Freeze/thaw stability : stable
Film properties

Hard, Tough and Glossy with a good degree of flexibility.
Outstanding water resistant.
Excellent alcohol and saponification resistant.
Low level of thermoplasticity.
Outstanding abrasion and chemical resistant.

Recommendation For End-use

Multi-surface coatings
Industrial wood lacquers.
Parquet lacquers.
Floor coatings.
Plastic coatings.

General Guidelines

The addition of wetting and/ or levelling agents and defoamers is required.
Kamthane K-2800 should be formulated with suitable coalescents, thickeners and matting agents.
Excellent properties without use of any external crosslinkers.
Kamthane K-2800 can be combined with limited amounts of specific acrylics.
