PU WALLGAURD is based on Aliphatic resins and exhibits enhanced resistance to U.V. without cracking, peeling or turning yellow. It is further cross linked and has good resistance to alkalies and mild acids and solvents. PU WALLGAURD has an extremely low water vapour absorption unlike acrylics and it does not turn soft even under prolonged immersion in water and at the same time has excellent breath ability due to reverse osmosis allowing water trapped in the substrate to evaporate. It is single pack, very economical, having excellent water resistance, weathering resistance, extra ordinary adhesiveness, fast drying and very good breathing properties. |

Kamroof GFM is designed to protect
surface of the building terrace & roof from water &
weathering effect. It is developed for complex/critical applications where conventional waterproofing/weatherproofing products cannot be used or applied. In these areas waterproofing products like polymer admixtures, repellent, adhesives, general purpose coating and sealants do not perform effectively for long time. In such applications the product should withstand heat, UV effects, expansion & contraction, gravity settlements, shrinkage and ageing effects. The product should be long lasting & should remain elastomeric and active permanently. Applications Substrates material : Cementitious substrates, asbestos cement, insulation materials, metal substrates, wood & plywood, bricks & stones, slates & tiles, plastics, bituminous coatings, paints, mastics, asphalt & felt. Substrate/structure types : Concrete/plastered roofs & walls, corrugated sheets, terrace gardens, parapets & chhajjas, drain sections, expansion joints, ventilation outlets, J hooks & screw overlaps, lighting fixture mountings, roofing junctions. Type of construction : Residential buildings, commercial buildings, Manufacturing units, malls, warehouses, nuclear power structures, theatres. Components of the System : 1. Sealcoat: Acrylic based elastomeric high performance coating emulsion. It is single component and ready to use formulation with quick drying properties. It is water repellent with toughness to arrest leakage and seepage of water. It protects the surface of UV radiation. It has got excellent adhesion to substrate and elongation of 200%. It has very good impact strength and withstands extreme temperature. 2. GFM : GFM (Glass fibre matt ) is supplied by Owens Corning India Ltd. and it is made of glass fibre chopped strands. It is incorporated in this system because if the treated surface has foot traffic then plastic coating alone may not withstand the ware and tare. On the surface where no foot traffic incurs the GFM need not be applied. However it is strongly recommended to use GFM for long lasting effectiveness and toughness. 3. Elastofalt : Elastofalt is a thixotropic cold applied polymer modified bituminous coating. It has very high adhesion strength. It protects the surface from water & weathering effects. The elongation is 900% and forms very good film on the substrate. It can be applied on any surface except ceramic tiles & metal. 4. Elastoprime: Elastoprime is a primer or bond coat for surfaces like tiles or china mosaic chips. Elastofalt or Sealcoat do not easily adhere to the substrate like tiles or china mosaic chips. On such substrate it is essential to give bond coat of Elastoprime, which is actually Elastofalt diluted with water in the ratio 1:1. All the surface lying water, mould growths, moss or other vegetation, loose debris etc. should be removed prior to application. Ensure that surface is free from visible dampness, dust. Dirt and other form of contamination should be removed prior to application. The surface to be treated should be in good condition, like plaster, concrete should not be deteriorated or debonded. The paint should not be in peeled off condition. The metal surfaces should not be rusted or torn. The wood and plywood should not be grained or expanded. The asbestos sheets and brick should not be in cracked condition. The tiles and plastic surfaces should not be in cracked or broken condition. Application procedure Kamroof GFM coatings can be applied by brush or spray. Given below application procedure of standard system Procedure of application on horizontal surfaces : A) For 5 years guarantee 1. Clean the surface thoroughly 2. Apply first coat of Elastofalt 3. Fix the Glass fibre matt immediately on first coat of Elastofalt 4. After 4 hours apply 2nd coat of Elastofalt on matt. 5. After minimum 12-15 hours apply first coat of Sealcoat. Dilute with potable water to the extent of 20% 6. After 6-10 hours apply 2nd coat of Sealcoat. Dilute with potable water to the extent of 10-15% After 24 hours the surface is ready for use. B) For 10 years guarantee 1. Clean the surface. 2. Apply first coat of Elastofalt 3. Fix the Glass fibre matt immediately on first coat of Elastofalt 4. After 4 hours apply 2nd coat of Elastofalt on matt. 5. After minimum 12-15 hours apply 3rd coat of Elastofalt 6. After minimum 12-15 hours apply first coat of Sealcoat. Dilute with potable water to the extent of 20% 7. After 6-10 hours apply 2nd coat of Sealcoat. Dilute with potable water to the extent to the extent of 10-15% 8. After 6-10 hours apply 3rd coat of Sealcoat. Dilute with potable water to the extent to the extent of 10-15% Procedure of application on vertical surface (wall) For 5 years guarantee 1. Clean the surface thoroughly and remove loose particles 2. Apply first coat of Elastofalt 3. After 6-10 hours apply 2nd coat of Elastofalt. 4. After 12-15 hours apply first coat of Sealcoat. 5. After 6-10 hours apply 2nd coat of Sealcoat.
