AQUABOND-360
(Water-based Polyurethane Dispersion)

It is a common problem to have leakage of the terrace. This leakage is less in a terrace with
porcelain chips glazed tiles. In case of leakage of this, normally the entire waterproofing
material like brickbat coba, PCC, Chips are removed by chipping the surface. The slab is
cleaned and waterproofing compound is applied. Waterproofing is again done by
brickbat coba, PCC, Chips. This is not only time consuming but highly expensive also and it
doesn’t guarantee the waterproofing of the terrace. Aquabond-360 has been introduced as an
ideal solution for such critical problems.

It is having following applications:
* Complete waterproofing of terrace fitted with chips/glazed tiles
* Waterproofing of the terrace having PCC.
* Walls having heavy leakage’s etc.

Aquabond-360 is specially recommended in case of leaky terraces having chips/ tiles where
other waterproofing compound fails as they do not have adhesion to chips/tiles.

Method of usage:
1. Clean the surface thoroughly if there is are major cracks fill it with crackfilling compound
     of aquabond, cement & sand (in proportion of 2:5:15 with adequate curing incase of
     rusting of the steel bars ensure the proper treatment is given as explained in aquabond
     Technical literature.
2. Ensure the surface to be clean, free of dust, oily, greasy material.
3. Apply Primer Aquabond-360 to the surface this coat will block microcapillaries,
     which are normally generated in the surface & also improve the adhesion of coat
     of Aquabond-360. Wait for minimum 4 hours .The coated area should include
     the terrace and at least 6 inches above the bottom portion of the side walls.
4. Apply the first coat of Aquabond-360 on the surface, application should be
     in one direction.
5. Don’t walk on the surface or scratch the surface by any object as the film is
     not totally cured although it is dry.
6. Make sure that surface is dust free, apply second coat after 3 days the direction
     of this application of this should be in the direction perpendicular to that
     of first coat.
7. Ensure that the surface is coated uniformly, care should be taken to coat joints
     of outlet pipes of the terrace properly.
8. Allow this surface to cure for 10 days.

continuously in water there is no surface exudation of the naked film compared
to the conventional films.

Aquabond-360 can be used in Construction chemical industry as a clear membrane coatings over surfaces like glaze tiles, china mosaic, concrete, glass etc. as a waterproofing coating to prevent leakages. Inspite of being a tough hard coating it also imparts a great degree of flexibility, which is necessary as there is a lot of contraction and expansion of concrete. It can also be applied over hairline cracks as a waterproof coating to prevent leakages.
Aquabond-360 can be used as hygiene coatings, as it replaces solvent systems.
Aquabond-360 is suitable as a concrete floor coating or decorative finish where chemical and abrasion resistance are particularly important.
Aquabond-360 can be used as a tough flexible lacquer with good gloss for anti-graffiti coatings.
Aquabond-360 is suitable for use as wood coating, parquet floor lacquer,
concrete floor sealer and decorative finish.
