APPLICATIONS
SILICOAT WR
is a water
based, non-corrosive, Milky white Co-polymer liquid to be
used as an overcoat or as an undercoat to cement based and
acrylic based paints. It serves the following purposes:

When used as an
overcoat
above Cement Paint, it maintains the sheen of the Cement
Paint

It is UV resistant and therefore does not
allow fading of the Cement Paint
-
Enhances the richness of the surface by
not allowing dust accumulatio
-
Protects the paint and also the surfaces
below the paint and hence serves the purpose of
waterproofing since SILICOAT
WR acts as water repellent
-
When used as undercoat, it prevents
dampening of walls due to rain
-
It decelerates the process of ageing of
building structure
METHOD OF APPLICATION
SILICOAT WR
is a user
friendly ready to apply milky white liquid.
It is to be brush applied or sprayed without
adding water or any other ingredients. Surfaces to be
treated with SILICOAT WR
should be dry and free from all debris, dirt, oil,
grease, wax and all other forms of contaminations, which can
prevent the penetration of
SILICOAT WR. Dry weather or absence of rain
during applications & 24 hrs thereafter is necessary for
proper curing of SILICOAT WR.
It takes long time to cure under humid conditions, in such
cases allow for 72 hrs to cure.

UNIQUENESS OF
SILICOAT WR
In case of
normal Silicon based coatings, the problem occurs at the
time of repainting of the building. This is because these
coatings cannot be over coated by new paints unless the
silicon-based coating is scraped all together.
